Spectacular, comfortable, luxurious. Fantastic - the house was just as the website depicted it. The location was tremendous and the views were amazing. We had all we needed.

Great location and tasteful, only a few flaws. Very pleasant finishes and tastefully done. However, bed sheets were not cleaned, guest shower room sink was totally blocked and unusable, gas bottle was not refilled until asked, many ceiling lights were broken/not changed, and no simple kitchen stock such as Nespresso/pods, salt/pepper etc. Aside from simple issues, we are satisfied with the service and will revisit in future.

Great house unfortuantely no security and we were robbed. I would have liked to say that the stay was perfect, because the house and location is really amazing. However, due to the fact THE HOUSE WAS BROKEN INTO DURING OUR STAY AND SOME OF OUR THINGS STOLEN, the entire weekend was ruined. Firstly, upon checking in, we were made aware that it is unsafe to leave anything on the stoep because passersby may be opportunistic and steal. We understood that risk and, the whole weekend, never left anything outside or any doors open whilst we were in the house. However, we were also told to put the alarm on at night when sleeping (fine) and to set both the inside and outside alarms when going out (also fine). We did this and yet, when out for lunch on Saturday, we returned to see that both doors had been messed with and there were new markings. We immediately called Paternoster Rentals and someone came out and confirmed that indeed those marks were new. At this stage, we asked how it is possible since there is an alarm, so surely if someone tried to break in it would have been set off? This is when they told us that the signal for the alarm doesn't work and so there is NO SECURITY for the house! We had several electronics and other high-value items stolen from us. We have spoken to a representative from Paternoster Rentals and they said there was nothing they could do. They also confirmed that actually this is a risk, but they just didn’t tell us. We are waiting to hear back from the owner whether it is possible to get a refund or reimbursement due to the unsafe and misleading nature of the accommodation and the fact that we had items stolen. We would not have stayed at the house had we known the risks. We recommend the website takes down this listing until the security issues are sorted.

Enjoyed the town of Paternoster. Will not book this accommodation again. The house is like a dungeon. Not enough windows or large enough windows to let in sunlight. The windows could only open marginally. The house was not clean. The place needs a deep clean. We had to rinse the shower floor with boiling water before using it. Water dams up on one side of the main bathroom floor.

Ons het dit vreeslik baie geniet in julle stukkie paradys. Pragtige huis met 'n pragtige uitsig.

Ontspanne en veilige verblyf met die mooiste see uitsig. Rustige, veilige verblyf op die see. Naby al die restaurante en die uitsig is wonderlik.

Ons het Paternoster regtig baie geniet. Dit was baie lekker, ja.

Wonderful house for family and friends. Great location, love it.
