Description

Out of Africa is located in Colesberg at the foot of Skietberg where goats graze. This is ideal for guests who travel between Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and would like to spend the night safely. The guesthouse focuses on a holistic lifestyle and comprises 2 separate rooms.

The Pers Room is small, but sufficient for an overnight stay. It is furnished with a double bed with an electric blanket and a single bunk bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The Green Room is furnished with 2 single beds which can be converted into a queen-size bed on request. A camp hut and cot can also be provided in the Green Room on request. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

Each room is equipped with a small fridge, kettle, microwave, cutlery, towels, and fans, each with its own entrance and safe parking. Freezer facilities are available on request. Amenities and complimentary items include biscuits, coffee, tea, sugar, cold water, ice and milk. Note that the rooms do not have air conditioning.

Each room also has its own braai facilities, and wood and braai sets are available for purchase. Evening meals are available on request

Guests can visit the Colesberg-Kemper Museum, explore Doornkloof Nature Reserve and even Gariep Dam or enjoy a meal at Die Plattelander, Bordeaux, Horse and Mill, Innikraal, or Die Chargo paddock which are about 2 km from the accommodation. Guests are also welcome to climb Skietberg and enjoy the view.
