Excellent and affordable. It had been so clean and tidy. The neighborhood is very quiet and no noise. I really like the curtains because they make the room dark so one can sleep well. The reception is very friendly and helpful. Security is high on the list and one feels safe. The place is located near where we had a competition, so very convenient. I would definitely recommend Palmar Hotel to anyone going that direction.

Adequate but not matching the rating on the LekkeSlaap site. The rooms are very cold and there is no provision to improve on environment temperature. There is no provision to place a suitcase to unpack from. The bathroom also has no shelving or provision to unpack toiletries. Expected more. When I booked and had the option of a luxury room, I expected a bit more of the little things like a place to put down the suitcase other than the bed, more shelving in the bathroom to put down basic toiletries. Something on the tile floor, especially in a Highveld winter. And they could have provided something to heat up the place a little; the environment is extremely cold during the night.

Noisy drunk residents have no regard for fellow travellers. No security is available. Horrible stay. On arrival we got our key room 39, only to be called out of our room stating we owed the establishment money. I received confirmation from you that I paid the full fee and have a zero balance. The room was freezing, and no extra blankets or heater were provided. We phoned and asked for blankets and were told they would see what they could do. The shower door handles were broken as well as the basin. No security on site and loud drunk people at 6 on a Sunday morning with no noise control. Not worth it in my opinion.
