Safe, friendly and just 7 minutes from Addo's southern gate! We had a very nice stay and were greeted very kindly by a very helpful hostess! We were there during a very hot time. Each room has a ceiling fan, but more ventilation might be something to look into in the future. Excellent location and we felt very safe.

Friendly and helpful reception, clean and comfortable and really good value. Addo's Backdoor Secret is a comfortable and secure one bedroom flat with ensuite bathroom and an open plan lounge/kitchen. Our host made us feel very welcome and provided valuable information and literature about what to see and do in the area, but particularly in Addo. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to have dinner plates that fit into the microwave. It was no crisis, we managed using the side plates and it made for a novel experience to eat off two plates. The bed was very comfortable with a super warm duvet and even though the night was chilly, there was no need to fire up the gas heater. Bedtime reading would be easier though if there was a lamp on both sides of the bed. We appreciated the fresh salad ingredients our host provided straight out of her own veggie patch. Vehicle parking was secure on site and at no time did we feel unsafe. We would gladly return.
