Piekenierskloof Mountain Cottage @ Tierhoek Wines is a charming self-catering unit tucked away in the Piekenierskloof at Tierhoek Wines, in Citrusdal.

This house has a sleeping capacity of 8 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed, a bunk bed, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. There is also a double sleeper couch in the lounge. Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The adjacent lounge is furnished with comfy couches. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

The house opens up to a patio with outdoor seating, perfect to savour a morning coffee whilst enjoying the mountain views. Additionally, it leads to a covered area with a built-in braai, and seating perfect to enjoy alfresco dining.

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities on the property which include walks through the vineyards, relaxing in the private pool in the river below the house, wine Tasting of Tierhoek's top Wines, and fishing in the dam.

There is a private pool in a secluded spot by the river that is a 300 m walk from the cottage.
