Lovely spot, but could do with a few improvements. This is such a special spot; however, we were disappointed in a few areas. Firstly, take note that one of the bedrooms is actually an outside cottage. We didn't feel comfortable using that room as we have children with us and didn't want to be separated. The place was not quite as clean as it could be: dirt in drawers, leftovers from a braai of the previous tenant in the warming drawer, dead flies in the kitchen cupboard next to the plates. We loved the location; the farm is beautiful, being able to cycle around is wonderful, there are canoes to ride at the dam, and it's just beautiful. I wish a little more care was taken with the house. I wish that there was a book/pamphlet that had info on the farm and some suggestions on what to do in the area as it's such a wonderful area. I would definitely recommend and go again, but I would go with fewer expectations.
