Short and sweet. Upon arrival, we were asked to send proof of payment to the reception email address. Apparently, the website had not confirmed this with the hotel, or had not paid them. We booked on the Wednesday before arriving on the Saturday. When the sent email did not appear in the reception's email folder, they called us in the room and asked us to come down and resend it in front of them.
