Pumba Private Game Reserve Msenge Bush Lodge is situated among dense bushveld situated 25 km outside Makhanda (Grahamstown). The eco-friendly reserve is home to Africa's Big 5, as well as rare white lion, hippo, hyena, cheetah, giraffe, various antelope, and more than 300 bird species.

The Bush Lodge offers accommodation in luxurious, glass-enclosed thatched chalets situated in a bush setting, that flow into the surroundings. Each of the chalets is furnished with four-poster beds with mosquito nets, and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with heated towel rails, showers and baths with views of the surroundings. The air-conditioned chalets offer a lounge area, a mini-bar and hospitality trays, a cosy fireplace, an electronic safe, as well as a direct-dial telephone. The chalets open onto private wood viewing decks with plunge pools and outdoor showers, and overlook the waterhole on the flood plain.

The lodge offers African fusion cuisine with an Eastern Cape flair, complemented by a superb selection of local wines from the Director's Cellar. Guests can enjoy the Soul Spa or a workout in the glass-enclosed gym, and explore the reserve in custom land rovers or on guided walking safaris.

Other activities include bird watching, bass fishing, stargazing, archery, as well as nearby horse riding and golf.
