Description

Rhodene Farm Cottages is situated just 1.5 hours from Cape Town, 500 m off a tarred road, at the foot of the Skurweberg mountains with views over the lush Ceres Valley. This working fruit farm offers a peaceful countryside setting ideal for a relaxing getaway.

Accommodation comprises 10 fully equipped self-catering cottages and a modern farm house. Each unit is comfortably furnished and equipped for a convenient stay, allowing guests to simply bring along their own food and drinks.

Rhodene is a productive fruit farm, primarily cultivating a variety of pears, with apples and peaches also grown. The harvest season runs from December to April.

Guests can relax in the comfort of their private cottage, enjoy walks or cycle through the scenic mountain surroundings, try their hand at bass fishing in the farm dam, or unwind in a wood-fired hot tub available at three of the cottages. For those interested in wine tasting, several wineries can be found within a 50 km radius.
