Cosy cottage for a quiet breakaway. Our stay was above expectation. We felt so welcomed as if we have known the hosts forever. Stunning view, with lots of birds around. The cottage was well equipped. Very safe and perfect for a family getaway.

Amazing getaway. Our stay was wonderful. The house was spacious and our girls could play freely. It was close enough to restaurants and close enough to Kenton when we needed to get groceries. We definitely will be back to stay.

Very relaxing but also a little disappointed - regarding dirty floors and the trail to the river. Stay was good, very tranquil. The house needs some TLC. I had to sweep the place; the floors were very dirty. Otherwise, it was really good. Very disappointed that the trail down to the river was overgrown and we could not take a walk down.

I do apologise if you were under the impression the floors were dirty, but they were swept and mopped before your arrival. With regards to the trail down to the river, it isn't stated on my page that there is access, and the area is municipal ground and not for my upkeep. The house has had major improvements done over the last 2 years of being the owner, but as you are aware, everything takes time and money. Thanks for pointing out that it needs TLC.

Relaxing and enjoyable. A nice uncomplicated cottage in a quiet neighbourhood with a lovely sitting area out back with a view of the river. All you require when taking a break in a little seaside village.

Ons sal beslis weer 'n draai maak. Wat 'n heerlike stil wegbreek in die natuur, weg van besige vakansiegangers. Beslis waarde vir geld en genoeg ruimte vir elkeen om te kan ontspan.

Netjiese verblyf. Die huisie is baie goed toegerus en die kamers lekker ruim. Sal beslis weer daar gaan bly.

Affordable family accommodation up river in peak season. It worked very easily for our family of four (kids 10 & 8) and dog. We spent most of our time with family in Kenton and this was a great and more affordable base for us. A nice little river view from the back garden. No river access as far as we could tell. The kids loved the board games! And we had some wonderful close-up touraco (loerie) sightings.

We had an awesome time. We had an awesome time as a family for a weekend away after all these lockdowns and we celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday as well.
