Hier kuier jy! Regtig lekker gebly. Alles is gerieflik - alle kamers en suite en gerieflik groot. Stoep is die wenner - lekker vir saam kuier. Lekker kombuistafel vir kuier (soos in die ou dae). Regtig 'n gesellige plek.

Baie baie lekker. Fantastiese uitsig, baie mooi gerieflike huis met alles wat nodig is. Die wasbak in die kombuis is enig in sy soort. Beplan alreeds ons volgende kuier daar. Eienaar is baie aangenaam.

Relaxing and peaceful. We recently spent 4 wonderful days at 128 Golf Estate. The house was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient and offered beautiful scenery. Overall, we would highly recommend this accommodation to others.

Won't use Rochester again. The location was perfect. However, the pictures on the website were not representative at all. The host took offence when I informed him of the cleanliness state and asked questions about what was advertised and not there. No teaspoons, showers horribly mouldy, roof trap door open and cobwebs everywhere.

The guest stated to cleaners that the dark grey grout, all of it in the shower, was mould when this was just the colour of the grout and the guest was mistaken. Over 40 messages were responded to from guests before 6 am expressing dissatisfaction that there is no satellite TV in bedrooms as advertised when we do not advertise this. Brand new items purchased for this specific guest at their request included a mop, broom, scopey, cleaning chemicals, a brand new cast iron set of pots and pans, teaspoons, chopping boards, heaters and more. All guest complaints were handled professionally in person and immediately. I personally visited the property to find two small cobwebs (we are in a wild bush long grass estate); showers were immaculate, but we had a maid clean, then I scrubbed the details myself, and I even had the cleaning manager arrive with chemicals, and we scrubbed the showers three times and sent pictures to the guest with no response. There was never any mould, simply dark grouting, so we simply cleaned under the silicone and replaced the silicone as this was the only imperfection. We complemented all of these brand new items in boxes purchased especially for this guest with chocolates and wine, and sent pictures of all brand new items purchased and delivered. Three guests stayed before and three guests stayed after this guest, all gave us 5 out of 5 reviews. We always fly into action and assist any guest with any matter regardless of how small, or how unjustified we may feel the complaint may be, and pride ourselves on this. Our past 18 reviews with an average of 4.8 out of 5 tell a different story to this guest's review. Very unfortunate. I consider myself to be an exceptional host with nothing being invalid or too much trouble when it comes to our guests. We continue to endeavour to meet our guests' expectations and will always deliver the same service. Regards

Koud koud koud. Eerste keer vir ons in Clarens en wat 'n teleurstelling. Die verblyf het gelukkig elektriese komberse gehad, maar geen het omtent gehelp van die koue. Die banke is vuil. Die seiling het 'n stuk in die gang uitgeval, maar dit is nie reggemaak nie. Gelukkig was die beddens skoon en netjies, maar regtig, mens sal dink vir die prys wat mens betaal, sal daar darem aircons in wees en die banke sal skoon wees. Groot was die teleurstelling.

Thank you so much for your review. The property has a wood-burning fireplace in the lounge, a 1.2m built-in braai inside the enclosed kitchen which can be used as a second wood-burning fireplace. The lounge has an additional gas fireplace with our complimentary bottle of gas. Each bedroom has wall heaters, fan heaters, throws, additional blankets at the end of each bed, further additional blankets in cupboards, electric blankets, and fan heaters () in each bedroom, along with additional throws in the lounge and stoep area. Unfortunately, it's physically impossible to provide more in the way of heating. During your stay, we did experience minus 7-degree temperatures which is as cold as it gets, so unfortunately, further than providing all the above-mentioned heating, we cannot do more. Indeed, we did find two small stains on one of the sofas which we have since had cleaned; whilst the sofa is clean and cleaned monthly, sometimes this may occur and we will remedy it as quickly as we possibly can. The manhole cover we did explain to you fell out and the corner broke off, and as you only had a one-night stay there was no time to have a new one made, but this has now been replaced also. Lovely, comfortable home in a safe estate. Great, very accommodating host. The house had everything and more than required. Such a lovely "kuier" home. That stoep is wonderful! We spent most of our time there. Very comfortable home with a great location and stunning view.

Verseker een van die beste plekke waar ons al gebly het. Baie goeie diens ervaar. Ongelooflike plek. Alles was baie netjies en mooi. Die gasheer was uit die boeke. Hy het van begin tot einde vir seker gemaak alles is in plek. Was regtig 'n onvergeetlike naweek.

Rochester is baie lekker geleë en baie veilig. Heerlike sonstoep, baie plek om te sit en kuier. Die erf langs is besig met ontwikkeling en mag dalk van die uitsig ontneem in die toekoms. Om self hout te koop is glad nie 'n probleem nie, en die houthert het die vertrek heerlik verwarm. Ons sou graag die sonstoep op winteraande wou verhit, want mens neig om meer daar te sit.
