Super beautiful, peaceful and neat. Our stay was fantastic. The accommodation is some of the most beautiful and neatest I have ever experienced away from home. The smallest details have been thought of. Very peaceful and well equipped. Excellent security too and the hospitality of the owners and view over the river is the best.

The service was friendly and we felt really welcome from the moment we arrived. I can definitely recommend it for couples or anyone who wants to escape from city life and just breathe again.

A piece of heaven by the river. I found a piece of heaven at Shanty’s Rest. This lovely place made me feel right at home — from the warm welcome to the peaceful atmosphere. Everything was tastefully decorated with attention to detail, and I could see that a lot of love and care had been put into every corner. The location is ideal — close to the water, quiet and safe, perfect for a peaceful getaway or just to catch my breath. I enjoyed every moment, especially the mornings on the porch with coffee and the calm of Port Owen around me. Shanty’s Rest is truly a place where you can rest your soul. I will definitely come back to visit. Recommended with all my heart!

Value for money. We really enjoyed the place, neat and in very good condition. It is very safe. Views were very beautiful. Hosts were very friendly and we immediately felt very at home. Restaurants and shops are around the corner, so it was very convenient. We will definitely stay there in the future.
