Great place to stay when visiting Wilderness. We had a truly great stay at this lovely cabin. What an incredible view it offers! We had to think about spending the day at the cabin to just enjoy the place or to go out and explore the Wilderness area. We wouldn't think twice to book there again.

Relaxed, welcoming and stunning. We loved our stay at Silverlake Cabin. We had the most magnificent sunrise show with the mist melting away and revealing the most phenomenal views! The Cabin is super comfortable and stylish! Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful place. We loved everything about our stay at Silverlake Cabin, and only wished we had booked for longer! Such a relaxing place with stunning views and so quiet except for the sounds of the birds - just magical! Such great attention to detail in the cabin with everything you need, super clean and modern! Inviting, snug, comforting, picturesque, and tranquil. Our stay was truly delightful, surrounded by stunning scenery. Each morning, we were greeted by the melodious songs of birds, creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere. The accommodations were impeccably organised and equipped with everything one could need. Additionally, the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway and only wished we could have extended our stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

Heaven is at Silverlake Cabin. Amazing apartment, beautifully furnished, well kitted out and extremely clean! And the views are out of this world. Private, perfect for a romantic weekend away or even a work and play, as the WiFi is great. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out was perfect. Best braai spot on the patio, with incredible views!

One of the best locations and cabins we have ever stayed in. What a magical location and the accommodation provided us with everything and more for a comfortable stay. The view was incredible, and we will definitely be back! Leigh is such a great host and made sure the cabin was equipped with everything we needed.

Silverlake Cabin is absolutely lovely. It is the ideal spot from which to enjoy Wilderness. We loved the silence and the privacy. Silverlake Cabin is inspirational. The massive windows overlooking the lake create the impression of endless space. There is everything you need in the kitchen – including an expresso coffee pot and a trusty Le Creuset frying pan. The birdlife and lake allow for sensational photography. We left enriched by the environment, carefully selected books and magazines to peruse, and just the sheer enjoyment of attention to detail. It is ideal for a cosy getaway for two! Thank you, Leigh, for advising about shopping, fishing spots and load shedding (not that we noticed because you have a backup system)!
