Squirrel & Vine is a private, fully-equipped, air-conditioned apartment with back-up power to assist guests through loadshedding and an excellent location in Stellenbosch’s historic core. Guests can walk to shops, coffee shops, restaurants and numerous historic sites.

The apartment is air-conditioned and offers DStv's satellite bouquet on a smart TV, as well as free unlimited fibre Wi-Fi. The full-function kitchen is equipped for self-catering and has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Linen, towels and guest amenities are supplied.

A private, all-weather balcony overlooking historic buildings has a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Secure off-street covered parking is available inside the security complex. Parking is scarce in central Stellenbosch - your parking spot inside the security gates is saved for you by a reserved parking saver.

The apartment is situated in oak-lined Herte Street and is one of the apartments in a block of 12 privately owned units on this one-way street. Squirrel & Vine is 150 meters from ‘Oom Samie se Winkel’ in Dorp Street and around the corner from De Akker, South Africa's second-oldest pub.

Squirrel & Vine has a back-up system to keep the lights and most of the plugs working during loadshedding. This excludes only the heaviest appliances: the oven, stove, washing machine, tumble dryer and air conditioners.
