Much enjoyed! We initially booked one night as a stopover en route from CT to George, and decided that we should stay for another night and have a spa treatment. Beautiful location, delicious food and friendly staff. Well thought out from beginning to end, an ideal location for some R&R or a private function.

Very relaxing place to be. This is such a lovely place to stay. The staff are very well trained and professional. We were particularly impressed with the glorious pool area, so cleverly designed to avoid the wind. We also enjoyed visiting Stanford village with its variety of cafés and charming mid-century architecture.

Exceptional. We had an absolutely incredible stay at this lodge! From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional service by the friendly and professional staff, who warmly welcomed us and showed us to our room. The room itself was stunning - immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and utterly charming. And the breakfast? Truly unforgettable - the best we've had in a long time! Every aspect of our stay was truly delightful. We can't wait to come back and experience it all again!

Wonderful peacefulstay in beautiful surroundings! We really liked Stanford Guest Farm and the service was excellent. The restaurant is top class and the views great! The rooms are large and comfortable. Swimming in the dam was exhilarating. I did find it a bit pricey in comparison to the other comparative places we stayed in on this holiday but we shall certainly return one day!
