Still Waters is a historic Long House dating back to 1938, nestled on the tranquil shores of Verlorenvlei — a pristine natural lake and estuary officially declared a Nature Reserve. Located just 5 km from the vast Atlantic Ocean, this peaceful retreat offers easy access to unspoiled beaches with fine sand stretching endlessly along the coastline.

This serene getaway is the perfect place to switch off and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Wake up to the distinctive call of the African Fish Eagle, spend time on the jetty observing the abundant birdlife, or simply enjoy leisurely walks on the pristine beach.

Accommodation is offered in a selection of self-catering units with varying sleeping capacities, each comfortably furnished and featuring private bathrooms. For your convenience, linen and towels are provided, ensuring a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

Each unit includes a kitchenette and lounge area, with some featuring cosy fireplaces. Guests can enjoy private patios with outdoor seating, each offering its unique view.

Guests are encouraged to explore the region’s natural beauty, including the striking floral displays of Namaqualand, the rugged landscapes of the Cederberg Wilderness, and ancient rock art found in nearby caves.
