Description

Storkereden, which is Danish for Storks Nest, offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a relaxed family beach house situated in the Overberg fishing village of Pearly Beach. This tastefully furnished home offers lovely sea views and is just 100 m from the beach.

The house can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms. There is 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The remaining 4 bedrooms are each equipped with 2 single beds. The 2 upstairs bathrooms each have a shower and bath. The house comprises a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave, and is equipped with a dining table and chairs. The kitchen leads to another dining area. The lounge is equipped with a fireplace and a TV. Guests have access to braai facilities, an outside fire pit, secure parking, and free Wi-Fi. The house also includes a basement/games room and a wood fired Kolkol Hot Tub.

The house is ideally located for family holidays where days can be spent surfing, fishing, exploring rock pools, strolling along the beach, wine tasting, shark-cage diving, horse riding, hiking, or discovering quaint towns in the Overberg. During the months of July to October, whales can be spotted from the house. You may even spot pods of dolphins, and birds such as black oyster catchers and plovers. Fish, such as yellowtail, cob, musselcrackers and steenbras can be caught from the beach or rocky outcrops.
