Relaxing, calm, quiet. Our stay at Summerwine was good. It was a relaxing environment with a lovely hot tub. The owner is welcoming and accommodating.

Amazing stay. My stay at Summerwine was an incredible experience from start to finish. The property is beautifully located, offering stunning views that made every morning feel peaceful and refreshing. Whether it was enjoying a coffee while taking in the scenery or relaxing in the evening, the surroundings truly added something special to the stay. One of the absolute highlights was the hot tub — it was the perfect way to unwind, especially with the beautiful views in the background. Clean, well-maintained, and perfectly placed for privacy and comfort. The accommodation itself was cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully prepared, making it feel like a true home away from home. Every detail was just right, and it’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Summerwine to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a touch of luxury. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic. Ockie is fabulous and the place is amazing. It was such a great weekend. It was the perfect place for my partner to propose; it's isolated enough so it feels remote. The scenery, the hot tub and the overall vibe were just perfect. I would definitely recommend Summerwine for a romantic getaway.

11 out of 10! Summerwine was an 11 out of 10 stay. We really will go back again. For once the pictures of Summerwine did not do the site justice. The WiFi showed it was slow but we had no buffering at all. Ockie was there to greet us and our hot tub was perfect by the time we arrived. Pity I couldn't stay longer. We would like to send a special thank you to Ockie and hope his wife will get well soon.

Peaceful and relaxed. Amazing, Ockie is such a wonderful human being and the way he welcomed my wife and me was admirable. Such a down-to-earth and caring person. He went out of his way to fix the WiFi issue we had, and it was resolved in under 10 minutes. I highly recommend Summerwine. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay we had. No noise of the city, just you and nature. Once again, we thank Ockie for his amazing hospitality. Amazing human being.

Absolutely amazing, and will go back. Before we even arrived, the host got hold of me and explained a few things. Upon arrival, I must say that the place was beyond my expectations. Everything was very carefully and meticulously planned, and there was nothing to do. Simply unpack and unwind for the weekend. The host is an amazing person and a gracious host. Would I recommend Summerwine? Absolutely 100%.

Perfect! Summerwine exceeded our expectations. Ockie and his wife were very welcoming. When we arrived it was raining and Ockie already had the Hot Tub going; he gave us enough wood and ice for the whole weekend as well as a little welcome basket. Wow! The scenery, the peace and quiet are 10/10. Perfect for honeymooning, anniversaries or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city. My favourite holiday destination so far and we will definitely visit again!
