Description

Sunset Bliss offers simple, charming accommodation in 3 separate self-catering units in Perlemoenbaai, between De Kelders and Gansbaai. It is located on the edge of the Walker Bay ocean, where whales and dolphins can be seen, with uninterrupted sea and mountain views. The Dolphin Garden Apartment is the only pet-friendly unit for dogs.

Guests can choose between 3 self-catering units, each with private bathrooms with a bath and shower or just a shower. Fresh linen and bath towels are provided, but guests must bring their own beach towels.

Each unit has a kitchen equipped with a fridge, gas stove, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery and tea and coffee-making facilities. The lounge areas have seating and a TV with the full DStv package. Free Wi-Fi is available. The units each have private balconies with braai facilities and a dining area with unobstructed views of Walker Bay.

Guests can enjoy whale watching between June and December. There is an easement right next to Sunset Bliss to the coastal walkway. For those who love walking, the 7 km Duiwelsgat trail starts at Gansbaai harbour and ends at the Klipgat caves in De Kelders. This route is also suitable for children.

Visitors can explore the area through mountain bike trails or enjoy the excellent wine trails, and for the adventurous, activities such as shark cage diving and fishing are also available. There are many restaurants in the area where guests can dine, and nearby attractions include the Danger Point Lighthouse, Afrikanos for a unique crocodile diving experience, the Strandveld Museum, the African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary, Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary and the Klipgat Caves in the Walker Bay Nature Reserve. Sunset Bliss is 40 km from Hermanus and 20 km from Stanford.
