A most unpleasant stay in the most disgusting accommodation. Definitely do not recommend this place. The ceilings are mouldy and falling out; in fact, the entire place has a mouldy smell. The shower was extremely dirty and the door couldn’t close, and of course the toilet seat was broken too! The fridges were broken and cracked. Linen was minimal and had an awful, musty, mouldy smell. The entire outside area was dirty and unkempt. Dog excrement (four dogs on the premises) was all over the outside area, and the grass was uncut and growing wildly. An all-round and most unpleasant stay, but accommodation in Bot River over that period was at a premium, so we couldn’t leave after the first night and were forced to stay. We participated in the annual Dog Retrieving Trials in Bot River. The host, Thea, was helpful when my car broke down on the last night, and she found someone to inspect it. Small but comfortable. We had a quick overnight stay and didn't need much, but I would have liked to spend more time there. Very well equipped, even though the place is small.
