Peaceful stay in the Karoo. We had such a lovely stay in the tent house! It's so peaceful and relaxing, and the space feels very private and secluded. Clean and cozy stay, but poor communication and no response from host after repo. We really enjoyed our stay at the Tent House — it was clean, neat, and overall a lovely space. Initially, we were advised by the staff to stay in the Rock Cabin instead due to Wi-Fi issues in the Tent House, as we had mentioned wanting to watch the Grand Prix. We appreciated the suggestion and moved to the Rock Cabin. Unfortunately, when we got into bed that night, we noticed bloodstains on the sheet. This was quite off-putting, so we decided to move back to the Tent House. I reported the issue to the host, not to complain, but simply to let them know that the bed hadn't been properly cleaned — or, if they believed it was, that someone else shouldn't be booked into that room without fresh linen. The most disappointing part was that the host never responded at all. We weren’t as upset about the linen itself as we were about the complete lack of acknowledgment or follow-up. With that said, we still really liked the Tent House itself and enjoyed our stay — a little communication from the host would have made a big difference.
