Heerlike Bosveld wegbreek. Heerlike naweek weg op 'n pragtige plaas in 'n pragtige omgewing. Baie gasvry en behulpsaam. Baie om te doen vir kinders en volwassenes.

Nice place to be at for a weekend away. Nice place to recharge, but the 7 km road leading to the place is bad.

Beautiful but left a little to be desired. Our stay was pleasant. Our big issue with the lodge is that the photos posted are deceptive. Based on the pictures online, we were under the impression that the bungalow was very private, when in fact the bungalow is directly behind the restaurant and it looks directly into the 5-bed house opposite, and the jacuzzi is next to the bungalow so you're entirely exposed. We were very lucky to be the only people staying at the lodge for the weekend, but had there been 12 people staying in the other house, it would have been super awkward, noisy, and unpleasant. For the price, I would have expected basic amenities like hand soap in the bathroom, sugar, and salt and pepper in the kitchen. Also, butter knives and a decent heater would have been nice. Furthermore, the area is steeped in archaeological history; some information about the area and the animals would be a nice touch. The lion is obviously a drawcard; perhaps it's unreasonable, but I don't feel that the cage/old tennis court he is housed in is particularly secure, and it's hard to not feel a little nervous when left alone on the property.

Waste of valuable relaxing time. Staff was ok during the day and a nightmare at night. Overbooked us without rooms to handle the numbers. One couple had no room yet we paid for it.

Unforgettable, magically, memorable. The team at Thaba Pitsi Safari Lodge went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. They were extremely friendly, kind, and warm. Both Anel and Quintin were exceptional in their hospitality, going into town to assist us in getting a few items that we forgot to pack. Anel's passion for her job shines through in everything she does, and Quintin was amazing with the feeding, driving, and providing detailed explanations about the farm and animals. We felt at home and my daughter wants to have her 17th birthday at Thaba Pitsi Safari Lodge next year in March. Thank you to the Thaba Pitsi Team for a fantastic weekend.

A great place for an amazing holiday! We had an amazing time at Thaba Pitsi. Great area, nice game and quad drives, clean pool, great house with everything you need in it, very nice braai and very friendly and helpful owner and caretaker. They even went to town to buy some groceries we forgot.

Location and scenery was great! The family unit we booked as definitely not up to standard. Toilet seats were broken, door handles were broken, only 1 air-cons was in working condition, the roof started to leaking after rain. The amount we paid does not justify what we received.
