The magnificent original sandstone building in Nieuwoudtville has a warm atmosphere. It has stories to tell which date as far back as 1897 when Mr. Watermeyer, the local surveyor, placed the first settlement beacon here.

The Nedersetting in Nieuwoudtville features 5 elegantly decorated en-suite rooms, each with its own private entrance. The rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished and white percale linen and fresh towels are provided. Room comforts include Electric blankets, heaters, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A full breakfast is included, which is served in the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant.

The restaurant is located right next to the guest house and offers an a-la-carte menu, a fully licensed ladies bar, and a lovely warm fireplace. The restaurant serves breakfast, as well as a variety of dishes during the day. The menu includes favourites such as jaffles, bobotie, potjiekos, leg of lamb with preserves as well as homemade soup and bread. For a sweet treat, try the brownies, cheesecake apple tart, lemon meringue or warm malva puddings. The bar offers exquisite wines from wineries in the area.

The Nedersetting offers conference facilities for up to 30 delegates. Special events and functions can also be arranged.
