Bitterfontein is actually sweet! Bohemian and kitschy location just off N7. Very friendly and welcoming host that made us feel very welcome to Bitterfontein and the accommodation. She will also prepare a meal for you if you request it ahead of time. We opted for a braai and the host provided firewood (R40). Will definitely visit again when travelling along N7 and try the cuisine.

A lovely warm welcome from the host into a house that is distinctly different. A very arty and unusual decor. Very rustic and full of history and crafts, which is part of its charm.
