Lovely stay. The self-catering accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The secure parking provided added peace of mind, and the location was ideal — quiet, safe, and close to everything we needed. Great place for a getaway in McGregor. The accommodation was great, everything was as expected and a few extra touches made it even more perfect for the weekend. The pool was great and definitely a good addition when hot. A few considerations perhaps. Because of the water feature, there were a lot of mosquitoes that made it uncomfortable to sit outside in the evening. Luckily we brought our own Doom and mosquito plug or we would have had a horrid time sleeping. Perhaps some citronella candles, mosquito plugs for the inside of the cottage and also to advise the clients. Unfortunately, the WiFi wasn't working the entire weekend, it wasn't really a problem as we had data. Lastly, a little more privacy between the cottages with extra wooden slats or creeping plants etc., that would have been most welcome as it was a little uncomfortable for both people renting either cottage.

I have given your feedback to the owner and they will be making plans to help with more privacy. We apologise for the McGregor mosquitoes and although there was peaceful sleep in the cottage, we will look into it to see what we can do to better the situation. Unfortunately, the whole of McGregor had problems with their WiFi and reception, especially on Friday. We will look into that too to see what could have been the cause. Perfect place for a nice getaway. We really enjoyed our stay in McGregor. The unit we stayed in was very roomy, very clean with plenty of privacy. The check-in process is very simple and we felt safe. The swimming pool was lovely in the summer to cool down a bit. A lovely stay and highly recommended.
