'n unieke juweel wat perfek inpas in 'n unieke dorpie. Alles was puik vanaf ontvangs tot vertrek. Die plekkie het 'n spesiale tipe charisma wat ons beslis sal aanbeveel en weer sal gebruik.

Perfek! By verre ons gunsteling plek in Riebeek-Kasteel. Romanties. Boheems. Perfekte ligging. Goeie waarde vir geld.

Eiesoortig, genotlik. Ons verwagtinge is in alle opsigte oortref. Isolde se gasvryheid en kliëntediens was uitstekend, van die ontvangs en rondwys tot die welkomdrankie en byna oordadige eethappies wat gratis voorsien is. Die blyplek is ruim en skoon, met 'n goed toegeruste kombuis. Ons is selfs toegelaat om vir slegs een naweekaand te bespreek, 'n gebruik wat baie oornagplekke nie toelaat nie. En dit alles teen 'n lae tarief.

Excellent getaway. Excellent, we do not use a TV or internet on these trips. We explore the area and enjoy the food and entertainment.

A great weekend away accommodation in Riebeeck Kasteel! What a quaint little self-catering cottage. Set above the Wine Collective wine shop and looked after by the same couple, Isolde was really attentive and knowledgeable. Very good central location as stated in their listing. Everything was provided and more, very clean and comfortable.

Substandard and not well appointed or well managed. Would definitely NOT recommend this establishment as for the rate per night, it is well below par/standard. We go away approximately 4 times per year, so we are well aware of what the standard out there is and should be. Not recommended for the following reasons: Kitchen: 1. Washing up cloth was not new and did not smell clean/freshly laundered. 2. Washing up sponge was old and worn. At the rate of 1300/night, I expect a fresh new sponge. 3. Crockery was chipped. 4. Nespresso machine, no pods supplied. 5. Tea, coffee and sugar tins: all empty. 6. No kitchen scissors supplied. 7. Cutting knife supplied was blunt and the knife sharpener was so old it was smooth and therefore unable to sharpen the knife. 8. No other serrated edge cutting knives supplied, only bread knives (2, who on earth would require 2?). Balcony: 1. Not swept clean. 2. Weber not clean, cigarette butts inside. 3. Bin to store charcoal/briketts/wood, paint was peeling off all around. It had never been moved and when we did move it to the corner, there was dirt and dust beneath it which we had to sweep up. It was filled with empty briket bags and other empty bottles/trash. 4. The café table on the balcony was dirty/sticky marks left on it from glasses. Bathroom: 1. Hand towels supplied did not smell freshly laundered/clean; they smelled as if they had been used before. Note that the bath towels were clean and laundered, hence the difference was noticeable. 2. Aroma diffuser was empty and old (why leave it there? It should be removed if not functional). 3. Only 1 roll of toilet paper supplied.

Alreeds hierbo gesê. Die beste plek waar ons in jare gebly het. Dit was 'n ongelooflike naweek. Die verblyf was so lekker dat ons nie wou terugkom nie. Ons sal weer en weer teruggaan. Reg in die middel van die dorp waar alles gebeur sonder geraas, maar 'n feestelike avontuur.

Mees aangenaamste verblyf. Die beste verblyf eenheid in Riebeek-Kasteel. Groot eenheid met alles wat jy benodig en stap afstand na alle restaurante en winkels.

Cute stay. It was a cute little spot in a great location. Has all the amenities you would need. The only downside is that we didn't have hot water to shower in the mornings. We were told to be sparing with the hot water due to a solar power system and the geyser switching off late afternoon. We were assured that if we didn't shower in the evening, there would still be hot water in the morning, but unfortunately, there wasn't. I'm sure in summer time this won't be a problem, but it was an inconvenience for a winter stay.
