Great nature escape. Beautiful garden far from anything is all we wanted for our stay! No WiFi and no cellphone reception didn't bother us as we could recharge by walking on the farm, visiting the animals and having a delicious braai with the braai pack we ordered from our host, which was put in our cottage before we arrived.

Perfect remote Karoo cottage. Beautiful remote spot in Klein Karoo. Would be a great stopping spot with friends. Super braai area. Super hot 34-37°C for the couple of days with very little breeze. The accommodation cottage was just what we wanted apart from the heat. But hey, that has to be expected at this time of year. Bring a fan! Would definitely rebook at another time of year.

Quiet and beautiful. Quiet in nature. No city hustle and bustle, rest assured, lots of birds jumping and eating in the bushes and trees around the house. Very nice in the evening in the dark on the stoep. Cottage is well furnished.

A relaxing stay on a working farm. I stayed in Aloe Cottage - beautiful and well appointed. It had all the amenities one could ask for and a wonderful piquant little braai with braai grid included. The cottage is well situated with lots of vegetation to create privacy, but it is both a working farm and situated fairly near the main house. The hosts are awesome, so it was perfect for me, but I wouldn't choose it for a romantic getaway. I would gladly go back.

A most relaxing time in a beautiful setting at the base of the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Country Garden. For a weekend of wanting to be away from it all, this was the place. Very quiet with only nature's sounds around. We had everything we needed.
