Description

The Country Garden is located on Beecatcher Farm near Ladismith in the mountains. Guests will be welcomed with a friendly atmosphere in a beautiful, private setting away from the stresses of modern life. No cell phone reception or TVs, but fantastic views of Towerkop with direct access to the Klein Swartberg with all its diverse indigenous flora.

The accommodation comprises 5, self contained units to choose form. This includes the Blue Gum Cottage, Sunflower Cottage, Lavender Cottage, Aloe Cottage and Manor House.

Cool off in the mineral water dam, go hiking on the farm, explore the gorges or bring a mountain bike to explore the Voorbaat Valley and Vanzyl Dam.

The Country Garden is on a working farm so there is an opportunity to get to know the farm animals which includes pigs, sheep, rabbits, geese, ducks, chickens and goats. The kids will love it.

This is also a botanist's paradise with an incredible variety of flowers and plants. There is always something blooming. And for avid bird watchers, there are more than 80 bird species, including Black Eagle, Spotted Eagle, owls and the European Beecatchers, which the farm is named after.

A breakfast basket and braai pack is available and can be delivered to the houses. The costs are available upon request.
