The Hideout is a peaceful retreat situated on the banks of the Vaal River in Lindequesdrif and forms part of the greater Lion Lodge estate. Designed for families, friends or fishing enthusiasts seeking a private and scenic escape, the property features 5 exclusive riverside fishing and picnic spots, along with spacious self-catering accommodation in 2 separate units, namely The Cottage - 8 Sleeper and The Mansion - 16 Sleeper.

The Cottage comfortably accommodates 8 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. The unit includes a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and flows into a lounge with a TV and DStv. Guests can enjoy river views from the patio, outdoor seating, a built-in braai, and picnic tables. Two private fishing spots are included with this unit.

The Mansion is a double-storey unit designed for larger groups and can accommodate up to 16 guests. It offers 6 bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed, and 4 bathrooms fitted with a bath or shower, toilet, and basin. The spacious downstairs area includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge with a TV and DStv, while the upstairs area features an additional family lounge. Outside, guests can make use of a furnished patio, braai facilities, and garden picnic areas with beautiful river views. Two private fishing spots are also included with this unit.

All guests at The Hideout have access to a shared deck and boma, and are welcome to enjoy the facilities at The Lion Lodge. Secure parking is provided on site.
