Description
The Mount – Stalberg Private Reserve is tucked away on the slopes of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve and Buffelstalberg. It offers a truly unique getaway amidst unspoilt nature. This private mountain lodge is surrounded by dense fynbos, impressive mountain ranges, and fresh air, the ideal place for guests who wish to appreciate and celebrate the silence and beauty of nature in luxury.
The home comprises 3 air-conditioned bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, accommodating 6 guests. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with both a bath and a shower. The second bedroom has a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower.
The third bedroom is also furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. This room features a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave, and kettle.
The living spaces feature 3 dining areas and 2 seating areas, one with a TV and both with comfortable couches, where guests can relax while enjoying panoramic views of the mountains and valley. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, air fryer, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, and microwave. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer for added convenience.
Large sliding doors open onto a spacious wooden deck, where guests can unwind, take a refreshing swim in the pool, or relax on the sun loungers. Additional amenities include braai facilities, free Wi-Fi, and secure parking.
Outside, a world-class fynbos biosphere awaits, with many hiking trails running through the reserve among proteas, pincushions, ericas, and numerous other fynbos species. While sugarbirds frolic, there is plenty of birdlife to observe. The Kogelberg is often described as the Heart of the Fynbos, and here, guests can experience it up close.
