The Perch offers comfortable, rustic self-catering accommodation, located in Hamburg, a remote rural village with minimal infrastructure. It's the perfect retreat for those looking to slow down, unplug, and reconnect with nature, a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The charm of Hamburg lies in its simplicity, unspoiled natural surroundings, and the gentle rhythm of rural living.

Accommodation consists of 2 free-standing cottages, each sleeping up to 4 guests. Each cottage includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a separate guest toilet. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished, with linen and bath towels provided. Guests can enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy lounge, and a dining area that opens onto a deck with spectacular views of the coastline. Both units offer secure driveway parking and portable braai facilities.

While the village has only 1 basic shop, the area offers plenty of natural and cultural experiences. Guests can explore the Keiskamma River Mouth for birdwatching, hiking, and fishing. The coastline is great for long walks, with coastal dune forests in the Keiskamma Nature Reserve. A 2-hour hike leads to the remote Mtana River Mouth, known for its beautiful beaches and birdlife.
