Karoorest – Die Tuinhuis is located atop the water catchment area deep in the Sneeuberge in the Karoo, approximately 16 km along a gravel road from Nieu-Bethesda. It is the ideal spot for families to enjoy affordable accommodation and connect with farm life. Guests can enjoy the peace and quiet or choose to participate in farm activities. Experience the stream running through the old forest, take long mountain hikes, go mountain biking, birdwatch, and stargaze. You can also watch the cows being milked or help with caring for the livestock.
This cottage accommodates 5 guests and comprises 3 sleeping areas and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, while the remaining 2 sleeping areas each have a double bed and 2 single beds, respectively. Guests share a bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. Additionally, there is a delightful outdoor hot shower.
The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen, including a gas stove, microwave, mini-fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery, and crockery. A dining table with seating for 4 in the kitchen is perfect for meals. The lounge is furnished with comfortable seating and a fireplace, ideal for colder nights.
Outside, guests have access to a braai area with breathtaking mountain views. On-site parking is available.
