Description

The Seaglass offers panoramic views and bed and breakfast accommodation on a hillside above Ballito. This guest house is the ideal base from which guests can explore the surrounding attractions in the area.

Upon entering the house, guests are greeted with a 25m infinity pool and a sea view. The house functions much like a greenhouse and is largely independent of the local power grid. This contemporary steel-and-glass guest house features 5 individually decorated rooms. Each spacious room has glass on three sides, allowing for maximum light and ventilation, and includes an en-suite bathroom and a private deck. Air-conditioning, a seating area, and tea- and coffee-making facilities are also provided in every room.

Guests can relax in one of three lounges on the lower level, on the veranda, or in the upper lounge, all of which offer sweeping views over the Indian Ocean, where whales and dolphins can often be seen during season. The house has a wraparound veranda and balcony that provides shade and promote an indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

The greenhouse-inspired guest house boasts imported mahogany, as well as photovoltaic panels and wind turbines that charge batteries to supply power and purified water. There are 7 secure on-site parking bays available.
