The Stellenbosch Hotel is strategically located in the heart of the beautiful and historical town of Stellenbosch. The hotel was built on land granted by Governor Simon van der Stel between 1692 and 1701. The building was restored in 1987 and has been declared a national monument.

Accommodation comprises a variety of boutique-style hotel rooms and apartments. Each apartment offers a fully equipped kitchenette, lounge and private balcony. Amenities in both the hotel rooms and the apartments include air-conditioning, a safe and a TV with selected channels. Limited basement parking spots are available. Alternatively, street parking with security is available.

Breakfast is served in the hotel's restaurant, Stellenbosch Kitchen, where lunch and dinner can also be enjoyed from a range of fine local and foreign dishes offered on the menu. The Stellenbosch Hotel is also able to offer conference and banquet facilities for groups of up to 36 persons.

Museums, art galleries and curio shops are all within safe walking distance. The hotel is the ideal destination from where guests can explore the Cape Winelands, Cape Town with attractions that include Table Mountain and V&A Waterfront, as well as the many other attractions offered by the Western Cape.
