The Stoke House offers homely self-catering accommodation nestled in the town of Clarens, the jewel of the Eastern Free State in South Africa. Nestled in the Maluti mountains, you’ll find a variety of restaurants at which to indulge, amazing shops and galleries, spas to pamper yourself, and adventure activities for adrenaline junkies and nature lovers.

The owner’s love of the Eastern Free State, mountain biking, nature, and adventure were the perfect ingredients for the creation of The Stoke House in Clarens, which is close to the nearest hiking trails and town centre.

Accommodation is offered in the main Stoke House which sleeps 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen and living area. A fireplace to keep you cosy in the winter months and a patio and braai for the summer evenings. The 2 units, namely Tippie and Tomac sleep 2 people and each unit has its own private amenities and kitchen facilities, patios, and braais. The main house and the 2 units can be rented out together for groups of up to 8 guests.

The Stoke House is pet friendly so the fur babies can join you in the mountains on your daily hikes as well welcomed by many of the local restaurants and shops catering for pets.
