Inspired by the distinctive beauty of the South African vineyards and the country’s rich viticulture, our luxurious guest house provides a friendly haven in the seaside town of Ballito. Enjoy superb sundowner ocean views from the terrace, a pleasant tea in the forecourt with its shady grapevine, or relax in the quiet privacy of the pool surrounds. Airy patios and bedroom balconies all make the most of the sweeping views, invigorating the sunshine and fresh ocean breezes of the balmy KwaZulu-Natal climate.

Seven en-suite rooms, (each named after a South African wine estate), are all beautifully decorated and well-appointed for every need. Fine percale linen, ornate chandeliers, unique trims and original artworks provide distinction to each air-conditioned suite.

Amenities provided include tea and coffee-making facilities, satellite TV, a bar fridge with drinks and snacks, fresh fruit, home-baked treats, complimentary sherry, bath and shower with linen and towels, and bath salts. Most rooms have stunning ocean views, from where guests watch whales or dolphins at play.

Guests are free to enjoy the warm comfort of our relaxation areas, including a sun lounge, outdoor patios, dining and sitting rooms.

Located 45 km north of Durban, Ballito is a bustling town renowned for its many golden beaches and safe bathing in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Willard Beach offers day bathing with attendant lifeguards in an area secured with shark nets. Other protected beaches in the vicinity include Salmon Bay, Thompson’s Bay and Clarke Bay. The village-like atmosphere of Ballito contrasts with the abundance of modern amenities, with a choice of supermarkets, shopping malls, cinemas, entertainment venues and a host of superb dining establishments.
