A wonderful relaxing weekend in the silence of Tierk. Many thanks to the website, the house and cottage were wonderfully spacious for a family of 8 people. The farm offers opportunities for cycling, walking in the mountains, relaxing by the swimming pool and many evenings around the braai pit and socializing in the nice spacious kitchen area. We had a wonderful stay! Thanks to the owners' hospitality.

Perfect from A - Z! First of all: We did not stay in Tierhoek House, but in the Pepper Tree Cottage. It was amazing and we had the best weekend! The unit is very private, comfortable, intimate and perfect for two people (with dogs!) A lovely indoor fireplace keeps the cold outside, while there is also an outdoor braai (covered) plus another "boma" -type braai/fire place under the tree. The views are beautiful, and you just want to sit on the porch and do nothing. The small plunge pool is perfect and private (more for the summer). The room and bathroom were spacious enough, and the bed with pillows comfortable, with nice reading lights. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We had a lovely walk on the hiking trails, and had no problems from baboons. A perfect getaway weekend spot!

Comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Tierhoek was an experience! Relaxed, quiet and peaceful. Only the beautiful nature, mountains and starry sky around you. The facilities were good and everything you might need is there. We especially enjoyed the little pool and the outdoor shower. We will definitely go back!

Neat house. The house is large and very well maintained. There are some nice walking trails on the farm. The surrounding mountains are breathtaking.

It was a good choice and nature always helps with tranquility. The facility was great, and there was everything. The environment is real wildlife and it was pleasant. The road is a bit of a challenge, but it is in the mountains and the views are very beautiful. The cottage at the main house's WiFi reception was poor. The rest of the reception was very good.

Such a beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful. The house is well equipped and so tidy. The perfect place to get away from all the noise but still close enough to the wine farms in the area. We had a lovely stay in Quince Cottage.

Lovely, peaceful weekend. We stayed in Peppertree and it was lovely. There is everything you need for your stay and the very large bath has the best view. They have the nicest hiking trails and then in the evenings we stared in amazement at all the stars. The house is very private and is perfect for a romantic 'mom dad weekend' or a place where you can just find peace.

Breathtakingly beautiful. You, nature and nothing else. Unbelievably beautiful cottage (Stone Cottage), very private with views I have never experienced before. The view over the dam was very special. Just never forget your binoculars at home like we did. Lovely walk with our dog children who enjoyed it just as much. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our mid-week booking by a day. We will definitely go back again. Thank you Bruce and Alison for sharing this wonderful place with us. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
