Tranquility is a spacious and rustic home perfectly positioned on the edge of the Vermont Salt Pan, offering magnificent mountain views. The abundant birdlife on the Salt Pan provides a constant source of delight and interest. This charming and character-filled home invites guests to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings.
This house can accommodate 10 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed. The 2 bathrooms are fitted with a bath, a shower, a basin, and a toilet. There is also an outside shower for those wanting to be close to nature. Linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a dishwasher for guests' convenience. Guests can enjoy meals together in the welcoming dining area. The lounge offers comfortable seating and features an open fireplace, perfect for relaxed gatherings. Upstairs is the second lounge TV room, well stocked with family board games. A small inverter keeps the TV and Wi-Fi on during loadshedding.
The property features a covered veranda with a second dining area and a relaxed seating area, as well as a fire pit that offers beautiful views of the Saltpan and mountains.
