Great time, clean, friendly and quiet environment. Great time, excellent fly fishing with well-stocked dams. Very accommodating of my dog too.

The views and surroundings were stunning but the accommodation was not the best. The views and surroundings were stunning but the accommodation was not the best. ± 15 km to a tar road, which was also not specified in the accommodation. I can only imagine if we did not have the right vehicles to drive there! Holes in bed sheets, old torn towels provided with hair dye stains on some of them. The wooden cupboards in the kitchen and the bedrooms really stunk. The dustbin in the kitchen had no cover, so flies and smell were always in the kitchen. The chimney in the braai area outside the unit was never cleaned, so the smoke kept coming out instead of going up out of the chimney. A bat came through the roof on our final night's stay and was making a noise each night when we were sleeping.

Good day Carmel, it was good to have you at our lodge. The boys seemed to have a blast, and your parents and partner too. The girls came around every day to service, which you did not want; hence the dustbins that were left in the kitchen. We are on a farm, and nature includes bugs, bees, flies, etc. I am sorry you were irritated with them. We made a trip down to the chalets as a management team each day, and nothing was reported; hence we did not know about the noisy bat or the chimney which had a plate that had been closed. With regard to the towel, one towel was placed with a stain on, but was immediately replaced within 2 hours of check-in. We don't seem to find the smell from the cupboards, taking into account it is our rainy season and we have had over 159mm of rain in 2 weeks when you checked in. Sorry if it was not good; once again, it was not reported. We live and reside and check in with our clients all the time to avoid any disappointment. Thank you, the management team.

Very relaxing. Our weekend escape was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a picturesque location, the setting was a haven of natural beauty. Our furry friends were in doggy heaven! There was ample space for them to romp around for some off-leash fun. It was heartwarming to see our dogs so happy and relaxed. The accommodation itself was incredibly cozy. We spent our evenings curled up by a warm, inviting fireplace, enjoying the tranquil ambiance. The pretty dams were fully stocked with trout. The hosts were a highlight of the trip. Their friendliness and genuine hospitality made us feel like part of the family. They were always available with helpful tips and recommendations, enhancing our overall experience. One of the standout features of our getaway was the hiking opportunities. Overall, this weekend away exceeded all expectations. It was a perfect blend of scenic beauty.

Baie lekker gekuier. Was baie mooi en rustig, het lekker vis gevang. Dit was die 3de keer wat ons daar was en sal enige dag weer gaan. Maria is altyd daar om te help.
