Description

Tzamenkomst River Lodge is strategically positioned on the banks of the Orange River, just off the N1 highway near Colesberg. The lodge is ideal for an overnight stop for those travelling between Gauteng, the Western Cape, and Natal.

Accommodation is provided in 11 separate en-suite rooms.

The rooms all have air-conditioning, electric blankets, a bar fridge, a microwave and a coffee station. The cottage offers views of the garden and the river and is accessed from the walkway leading from the pergola-covered parking area to the lodge.

The 3 family units are at the stables and have a beautiful garden view.

Bird hide is 3 km from the main lodge and offers privacy and the most amazing views up the river and lots of bird life - if you looking for some peace and quiet, this is the perfect place.

Hearty home-cooked meals are served in the main boma. Braai facilities and secure parking are available.

The Orange River provides plenty of fish for the fisherman and offers a challenge for those who enjoy good exercise on the kayak.

Guests can enjoy birdwatching and game drives on the farm. There is an array of beautiful bird species. Game varies from the exotic Roan antelope to the traditional springbuck, and of course the giraffe being the most inquisitive of all.
