I will not recommend this guest house, and should not be on the website. On arrival, we were met by a very confused host as they initially said we did not have a reservation. Only after we told them we booked via the website, the host opened her email and voila, there it was. The guesthouse is old, run down, beds are sagging, cupboards broken, tables broken. Kettle in the room, no amenities, no mugs. Aircon not working. Linen was clean, but old.

Tzaneen Guest House met my requirements. Tzaneen Guest House is centrally located in Tzaneen, close to shopping centres. As a business traveller, accommodation meets my requirements. I recommend the R71 from Polokwane. Beautiful scenery at Magoebaskloof and Haenertsburg. I didn't even see potholes on the route.

Comfortable overnight stop for business, but not a holiday venue. Comfortable destination with friendly and helpful staff, safe venue with inside parking, that does become overcrowded when full. Only down side was bathroom curtains were old and torn, and some of the bathroom fittings were loose, but everything was at least clean and comfortable. The location of the wall plugs were impractical and can be moved.
