Description

Uncle Tony’s Cabin is a cosy self-catering cottage for up to 4 people on a farm 3 km from Nieuwoudtville.

The thatched-roof cottage comprises 1 bedroom, 1 en-suite bathroom, a kitchen, and a lounge. The bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, and 2 single beds. Daybeds are available in the lounge area. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and a hand-held shower, and for convenience, bedding is provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge with freezer, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and guests can relax in the lounge, which has a built-in braai area. An outdoor braai area is also available.

Guests can explore the farm on foot or explore the town and surroundings. Nieuwoudtville is very popular during the flower season, and the town is known as the flower capital of the world. Guests can visit the Nieuwoudtville waterfall, the Hantam Botanical Garden, or the Oorlogskloof Nature Reserve, which offers hiking, cycling, and bird watching. Restaurants and eateries are open and offer a variety of dishes that best represent the town and culture, most notably Die Blou Huis restaurant, Nedersetting Restauran,t and the many food stalls found on the main road offer freshly made foods prepared by our town residents.
