Verdun Country House is a lovely villa nestled on a working horse estate set on the outskirts of Franschhoek, a quaint town in the Cape Winelands. Set in a landscape characterised by deep purple mountains and endless vineyards, Franschhoek is often referred to as the food and wine capital of the country.
This villa can accommodate 10 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed and its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower and double basin. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and makes use of the main bedroom's bathroom. The third bedroom contains a double bed and has an en-suite shower which is shared with the fourth bedroom. The fourth bedroom is furnished with twin single beds. The fifth bedroom has a double bed and its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped to meet the guests' self-catering needs. The villa offers 2 living areas which both have a TV with DStv and open onto the patio. The patio features a braai area, dining table and seating area. There is also a swimming pool, sun loungers, a playground for children and Wi-Fi.
Activities in the area include horseback riding, mountain biking, wine tasting, cycling, fishing and fine dining. Enjoy a true Cape Winelands farm experience.
