Beautiful place for nature lovers. We had a really nice stay. It is a nice spot to book for a small get-together or birthday celebration. We all got together Friday night at the braai area equipped with lights and plugs and enough place to sit. On Saturday, we had a small birthday celebration in the boma, also equipped with lights, plugs, refrigerator, braai facilities, sink, tables and chairs, and a working surface. It was a windy day, but the boma kept the wind at bay. So peaceful and quiet for those seeking a quiet getaway in nature as well. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing. We will be back! It was absolutely amazing. We loved it there and will definitely be back as we would like to make it our annual family get-away venue! The rooms were ideal for all of us - we were 18 adults and 5 children (all under 5 years old). The rooms were neat and clean, bedding was sufficient, beds were comfortable and it was so lovely to arrive to find a 1.5 litre water and milk in the fridge, as well as coffee and sugar and a yummy packet of biscuits in each of our rooms. The rooms had everything we needed in it. We spent most of our time at the Boma which was really beautifully set out with big braais, a lovely bar area with a fridge and our food/drinks were safe there at all times. We were the only people at the venue which, for us, was just perfect! We took the kids on 'night walks' with their torches which they thoroughly enjoyed and it was very safe and peaceful (no snakes spotted, thankfully; just the horse flies were pesky, but not a big issue). We were close enough to shops if we needed anything and we did take the kids down to the Langebaan Lagoon which wasn't too far away. It was so tranquil there, we slept well and enjoyed our early morning coffee together where we could all sit outside while the kids played and rode their bikes while the men made breakfast. Our weekend was so relaxing and chilled; definitely something we all needed!

Peace and quiet with unexpected luxuries! We travelled to Langebaan for a triathlon and needed an overnight stay close by that offered some peace and quiet. Waschklip was exactly that!
