Waterval Karoo Gasteplaas is in the heart of the Witteberg mountain range 17 km outside Laingburg in the Western Cape. It offers luxury overnight accommodation between the Cape and Johannesburg. The accommodation is approximately 270 km from Cape Town and Laingsburg is ideal as an overnight stop for travelers from Gauteng.

The facilities on the farm are super luxurious and of excellent quality. Everything is new and has Karoo character because a lot of effort has been made to use building materials that suit the Karoo. There is a variety of accommodation options on the farm from super luxury to standard. It is ideal for business travelers or vacationers.

The mountain cottage is very popular and consists of two nice large units that are self-contained, but connected with a communal braai kitchen. The large Karoo patio in front of the cottage has a covered braai area and outside in the garden is a braai area for the stargazers. The view from the mountain cottage is exceptional.

This guest farm is ideal for guests who want to experience the incredible silence of the Karoo. Please note that there is a dirt road of 12 km leading to the accommodation.

Activities in the area include mountain biking, 4x4 vehicle trails, walking trails, Seweweekspoort, Anysberg Nature Reserve, Swartberg Pass and the Hell with the Sutherland Observatory.
