Clean, decently equipped and well priced. Friendly hosts. We were 4 guys on a bike trip - the communication and check-ins before arrival were great. The place was easy to find and equipped with all the essentials required. Appreciated the ice and pack of wood left for us. The boma braai area is really nice and made for a good braai and chat. Beds are comfortable, fridge is a good size. The accommodation and style suit the character of the house which we really enjoyed. Very close to the main road and all restaurants and hotels. If I could make a recommendation: perhaps provide a spray can of Doom for the odd countryside fly. Would also recommend basic WiFi for WhatsApp for guests.

Value for money, central and all round family friendly. It was awesome, great location, close to many activities e.g. restaurants, craft markets, Route 62. I enjoyed the sleeping arrangements, two bathrooms a plus. Enjoyed the braai area, but could do with a covering; rain and sunshine can be brutal.

Thank you Dylan for staying with us and your good review. Just a heads up to other prospective guests, our accommodation does not offer WiFi, that is clearly seen on the website. Chalmaine, although incorporating cleaning, is not just a cleaner; she manages my property and guests check in and out as well. All the best, kind regards Mary.

Very unhappy. Not great. Keys are a problem, security issues going for keys to unsafe areas. Website check-in 15/19 was a problem with the owner.

Dear Aileen, So sorry to see you are not satisfied. I thought we addressed all the issues in our messages as well as giving you a refund. When contacted in the days leading up to your visit for a check in time, you had given us a time of 4pm. We , my key lady and I tried multiple times to contact you with text, phone calls and emails. I even contacted the service providers as you had not arrived by 4.30 pm and were unsucessful in getting hold of you. We did our best to accomodate you but as it turned out you arrived 3 hours after the time agreed apon. We discussed security issues as South Africans know how to make themselves and their valuables safe, but visitors to our country are not always aware of these safety measures. I am really sorry you felt you were not safe. We always do our best to accommodate guests regarding check in times but to do that we need to have clear communications. I had hoped that a refund would put things right so I am very sorry that your review indicates otherwise. All the best. Kind regards Mary
