We loved it. It was very cosy and we really enjoyed the calmness.

Really enjoyed the beautiful garden and surroundings. Only problem was a damp smell in rondavel.

Arrived 6pm Friday night, departed 8am Sunday morning. The stay was perfect, the only complaint that we have is that the milk was sour so we were unable to have coffee in the morning. We also did not buy milk for the following morning as the host said she would bring us more due to the tiny amount that was in the bottle. Coffee would have been nice, but this was not a dealbreaker for a future visit.

Friendly hosts - gem of a hideaway. We enjoyed our stay - hosts were pleasant - room was clean and, in fact, more than we expected.

Very centrally situated. Roy was very friendly. The rondavel was adequate. When I googled a self-catering stay, I envisaged that there would be at least a microwave. There was tea/coffee/sugar and milk and a fridge, but nowhere to wash the cups, so we used the basin in the bathroom. Not very hygienic.

Pleasant. Relaxing for one night.
