Description

Windvogels is situated halfway between Montagu and Barrydale in the Western Cape on a 211-hectare farm in the hills and semi-desert. The property is fully off-grid, powered by solar, and supplied with purified borehole water.

The Hare is a 2-bedroom villa, each with an en-suite bathroom. It has an open-plan living area with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The villa includes a patio with braai facilities and a wood-fired hot tub. The Hunter is a 1-bedroom villa with an en-suite bathroom. It has an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchenette and a fireplace. Outdoor facilities include a braai area with a Weber gas braai and a wood-fired hot tub.

On-site facilities include wood-fired hot tubs, braai areas, and access to walking and cycling trails on the farm.

Local activities within 20 km include birdwatching, hiking, cycling, photography, stargazing, and exploring the towns of Montagu and Barrydale.
