Zeekoelodge is a gem on the banks of the Vaal River. The Old Rock Cottage is a rustic cottage right on the banks of the Vaal River with the most beautiful view, unforgettable sunsets and the calming sound of the water. We had a great stay, it was just a very cold time of year and being so close to the water it was extra cold. The cozy fire in the fireplace helped a lot, but I would recommend extra blankets or even an electric blanket in the winter. Good fishing waters, but not a single bite while we were there.
