GETTING THERE

The hospital is situated in the rural town Sulenkama in the Eastern Cape Province. Sulenkama is situated 30.6km North-West of Qumbu and 55.3km West-South-West of Mount Frere. The turn-off to Sulenkama is 31km South of Mount Frere and 6.2km North of Qumbu on the N2 Highway and Nessie Knight hospital is situated 24.4km North-West of the turn-off.

Nessie Knight Hospital is a provincial hospital, and services are free to pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as children under the age of six years old. Other citizens are charged according to a sliding scale depending on their income.
